Liviana Sluga, a professor in Brock University’s Faculty of Education, attended Shen Yun Performing Arts’ matinee performance in Hamilton, Canada, on Thursday.

[Liviana Sluga, Professor of Education]:

“It’s beautiful and I’ve been to China and I have seen some shows there as well, and this one far surpasses the ones I’ve seen.”

She says the dancing is “perfect.”

[Liviana Sluga, Professor of Education]:

“The men are strong, the girls are very agile in their dancing.”

She says she could not choose a favorite part of the performance.

[Liviana Sluga, Professor of Education]:

“I think it’s absolutely wonderful, especially when you are going into the 5000 year history of  China and being able to infuse that with dance and express it through the movement in dance and through the costumes.”
