Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui has been called a "sl*t" by One Direction fans on Twitter.

The 18-year-old singer was targeted by 1D fans, also known as ‚Directioners‘ after an image of band member Louis Tomlinson and herself leaving London nightclub Libertine appeared after they attended the ‚Britain’s Got Talent‘ semi-final. The teenager was called a "sl*t" and told she is "ugly" and "fat".

Lauren explained that the only reason she was in a taxi with Louis, was because her phone died and she had no way to get home and he offered to make sure she got home safely.

Lauren told The Sun newspaper: "My phone died and I had no way to get home so Louis said, ‚Just jump in a car with me.‘ We got to know each other that night, it was the first time we really hung out. And he was nice enough to take me back."

Explaining the amount of hatred she received on the social networking site, she said: "The amount of hate I got for that picture … I got a slew of things like, ‚You’re a sl**t you’re ugly, you’re fat."

But when asked if the insults would sway her from dating the ‚Steal My Girl‘ singer, she added: "No I won’t allow people who don’t know what’s going on to dictate situations."
