Washington, D.C.: „It was Full of Hope“ – TV Producer on Shen Yun
TV producer, and director, Mr. Danner, attended the opening night of Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
[Mr. Danner, TV Producer]:
“It was full of hope. Full of light, full of love. Something that lives on forever and so that was lovely.”
World champion dancer and choreographer, Sam Arvidson, thought the dancers were fantastic.

“The girls were absolutely fantastic though. They were very delicate, yet they could be strong. They did a lot of different things, gymnastics that we call them, flips or whatever.”
Former dancer, Carmen Stull, originally from the Phillippines, loved the dancers’ movements.

“Very enchanting. It’s fascinating. I loved the movements, the flow of the dancers. It’s really very beautiful.”
And painter Carol Spils loved the costumes.

“I loved the colorful costumes. They were so ornate and they were just breathtaking.”
Washington Civic Opera Conductor, Richard Weilenmann, says the orchestra’s music was beautifully done.
[Richard Weilenmann, Washington Civic Opera Conductor]:
“Very interesting because (they) use modern instruments and also the more antique, chinese instruments. It was sort of a terrific mixture and the young lady that conducted it did a very nice job, beautifully done. The whole program was well done.”
